Our Longest Day Auction in 2025 raised over $12,000 in funds for the Alzheimer's Association to provide care and support, and to advance critically needed research. Additional funds were raised through a raffle and games held, as well as to donations made by many of you, our bridge family.
We are now embarking on our 2026 Do What You Love to End ALZ fundraising campaign! We will be holding an open and a 99er pair game on Thursday, June 18th at 10:30am. In addition, we will be holding a raffle for free plays and repeating what was a very successful online auction last year. Raffle tickets are 1 for $5 or 5 for $20 for the 10 free plays.
Unit Players and Teaching Pros have agreed to either donate to play a session or teach a lesson at a future date with the auction winner. They can be viewed and bid on by clicking here.
Bidding starts at 5 pm on Thursday, May 14 and ends at 5 pm on Wednesday, June 17, 2026.
Winners, once announced, may complete their donation via our Do What You Love to End ALZ fundraising page. The Alzheimer's Association accepts credit cards and PayPal among other options.
Do What You Love to End ALZ (formerly Longest Day)
The Do What You Love to End ALZ is an annual fundraising event held to support the fight against Alzheimer’s disease by the Alzheimer’s Association. The event spans the longest day of the year, the Summer Solstice, and symbolizes the challenging journey of those living with Alzheimer’s and their caregivers.
With 1 in 9 people age 65 or older (11.3%) having Alzheimer’s dementia, your donation now will help the Alzheimer’s Association support the 6.2 million Americans (>50 million worldwide) facing this disease.
To make a tax-deductible donation to the Alzheimer's Association, click here to go to our Longest Day Fundraising Team Page. If you prefer, we will happily accept your cash or a check made out the Alzheimer’s Association.
